Hello everyone,
My name is Alfonso Lopez and I am a Yachtmaster and USCG Marine Merchant looking for my next short or long term position aboard a yacht. I have vast experience in both sailing and motor yachts. 10 years of yachting experience with my last three seasons sailing the Mediterranean along the Balearic Islands, Barcelona, South of France and Italy.
I have experience in maintenance and servicing diesels and all sorts of general repairs on vessels as well as water toys. I am very skilled in mechanical/technical matters as I attended a trade school as a teenager and went on to graduate as an electronics technician. I have also experience in interior service and have worked/skippered numerous charters where I was supporting the interior crew as well. When it comes to ribs and tender driving I have excellent skills as well - bringing passengers to and from the yacht as well as assisting anchoring and mooring operations, specially in stormy weather. I can proficiently drive tenders of any size. All of my certifications are up to date as well.
At a personal level, I have a long history in swimming and practicing water sports. I am very fit and heathy. I am a healthy food advocate and I am very active person. I am a very hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated sailor with a good work ethic who would be an asset to your yachting operation.
