Tim: 53-year-old American sailor with 12 years of sailing, live aboard and racing experience in the US, Turkey, Italy, Spain & Greece. Experience in the hospitality industry. US Coast Guard OUPV trained. Current Greek captain's license. Fluent in English; conversational in Spanish; familiar with Turkish, Italian & Greek.
Mercedes: 47-year-old Spaniard with her Spanish mariner's book, Greek captain's license and years of cleaning and cooking experience. Fluent in Spanish; conversational in English.
In 2019 we crewed on a catamaran in Greece where we delivered it with the owner from the west coast to the east coast through the Corinth Canal. We then spent three months on a 53 ft Turkish Gulet on the Italian Rivera. We sailed with the owner, other crew and finally double-handed her to an anchorage in Gaeta where we ran an AirBnB off of her for two months. Our final tour of the year was on a 47 ft Fountaine Pajot catamaran where we crewed from Denia, Spain all the way across the Atlantic to St. Lucia. We are ready and able to crew in 2020 and, though we prefer the Greek Islands, we will be available for anywhere in the Med, Aegean or Adriatic. We will consider other locations if the scenario is amicable.
