Sailing Crew Opportunities as Mate, Crew/Deck, Deliveries, Vaccinated/Boosted, prefer Passages
Current - Looking for Crew, mate, deck positions. Completing courses and testing for 100Ton in Fort Lauderdale. Sailing Endorsement, December 2023. TWIC Card, December 2023.
August 2023 - South China Sea was interesting for sure, but now that Covid is over I am interested in more long term commitments, deliveries or passages. Most countries I have sailed to and around and through have been Spanish speaking, except for Greece and the South China Sea. I can easily stew/host, and deck, navigate, provisions. Lots of times it’s just a captain and me on passages, but I love people and exploring/entertaining. I’m independent, great traveler if you needed someone who could meet up for a leg. I’m also a liveaboard for years (wisdom comes slowly from many boat and Marina experiences), I raced J22s (winning team player), and and fit, vaxed, boosted and healthy. I came back to the USA because of Covid limiting travel, but am very ready to be gone again now long term. I'm still piecing together that circumnavigation I started in 2019....Thank you considering me.
March 2023 - Looking for opportunities in South Asia/Indian Ocean this summer. Ready to go end of May, healthy, boosted, I'm a liveaboard in St. Pete right now.
June 2022 - I was on a two month passage, but the boat has to stop in Utila due to paperwork issues. I am currently on Roatan, vaccinated and boosted and ready to go. It's much too late to make the Atlantic crossing, please Whatsapp or message me with any opportunities. Experienced, packed, and ready.
July 2021 - Currently crewing in the Ionian Sea, Working as experienced crew while building my Sea Days for my 100 Ton Captain's License, I'm a liveaboard in St. Petersburg Municipal Marina right now. I've crewed across the Caribbean now, the Panama Canal and headed up the west coast of Central America to PV, Mexico on Sailing Vessels from 38-68 feet. I've learned even more with each new vessel, Captain, routine and styles. Since August 2019, I have sailed continuously, and want to keep going. I did work on a M/Y in the Bahamas I have my PADI open water diving cert, mostly for cleaning props and waterlines.
December 2020 - I've been a teacher for years, while racing J-22 and S2/7.9 in Nashville, TN. Over the last two years, I have gotten my STCW and prepped for my Keelboat Certifications. I own a Hunter 22 and Hunter 27, and am ready to add to my skills and abilities maintaining, navigating, repairing, and generally sailing new vessels in new waters. I am ready, well equipped, and healthy. I'm a team player, always looking for potential problems, funny, and travel light. Very interested in crewing for circumnavigation. Thank you.
