Are you planning on circumnavigating Great Britain in 2024? Would you welcome some help?
Hi -
Having sailed to the Outer Hebrides last year and the Isles of Scilly - for a second time- as well as and sailing over to Ireland and Northern Ireland, the ambition for 2024 is to have completed a circumnavigation of Great Britain. Some sections were completed last year - 2023 : a 9 day passage from Plymouth to Woolverstone and before that a 2 week passage from Penzance to Oban.
Additional weekly day sailing has been on the River Humber and passages to Scarborough and Wells-next-the-Sea.
With being newly retired I have great flexibility with my availability and love nothing more than seeing the weather forecast is good and go out sailing for the day.
I am willing to travel to any departure points in the UK.
Additionally, sailing in Europe would be a new experience and one that I would like to pursue, especially in northern Europe.
I would like to crew , skipper, stand watch with my husband who like me, has his coastal skipper. Both of us also have day skipper theory and our short range radio certificate.
Additionally, we are dinghy sailors, sailing on an inland lake.
