Looking for a Cook, Cook/Stew, 2nd Chef or Friendship position
Hi! I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Cook, Cook/Stew, 2nd Chef, Deckhand /Stew, Friendship.
I’ve lived on the sea for 38 years! We brought our children up aboard our lovely old ship, Sindbad, as we worked our way around the world and I was responsible for their education. Our beautiful floating home was unique and brought us many fabulous opportunities during our travels, including some super exciting term charters. I was responsible for all the meals and overseeing and helping with stewardess responsibilities.
Prior to setting off on our first circumnavigation in 1995, we ran a very successful sunset cruise for five years followed by a candlelit dinner at anchor, for 28 passengers. I was completely in charge of the galley.
I love life! I love working on board yachts, and I love travelling, adventure and meeting new people. My husband passed away last year and I’ve tried the land but I’m floundering! I crave life on the sea! I’m a hard worker and will participate eagerly as a crew member of any boat that is willing to give me a try! I am very fit, love cooking, and have no problems cooking and taking watches underway! I enjoy reading,learning languages, hiking,swimming , interacting, adventures...you name it!
