Looking for any sailing opportunities, Delivery Crew, Competent Crew or Mile building position
Hello, I am seeking to broaden my experience in sailing.
My experience thus far has been two weeks on board a 33ft Gib’sea from Wheymouth to Oban (UK) Though a fairly brief period, a crew of 2, the skipper and I negotiated ~800NM and many different scenarios including many all-night sails (solo watches) and adverse weather.
I have also worked aboard cruise ships globally for several years. Though obviously different to sailing, I still carry a lot of SOLAS-endorsed training and actual time spent at sea.
I’m a professional musician (guitar/voice/drums). I am very easy to get along with having spent many years teaching, travelling and often living in close quarters or demanding circumstances. I am a great host and good cook, confident and friendly with decades of experience in show-business and leadership positions. I have a good sense of adventure (i biked solo across Canada last summer).
I hold a good passport, ENG1 medical, Discharge Book and visas (If professionally required)
Local/multi-day/international passages, any size/spec, rec/pro, I’m looking to broaden my experience on a variety of different vessels and get out there on the big blue.
