Hoping to find ocean passage making opportunities in 2022; Competent Crew / Mile building / Delivery Crew / Deckhand etc
Hello everyone
My aim in joining crewbay is to find opportunities for passage making, mile building and ideally ocean crossing in a sailing boat. I have sailed for several years and have a boat myself (a beautiful Elan33). My sailing experience so far is from the Baltic Sea and mainly the Finnish coast and archipelago, with a couple of trips in the Mediterranean rental boats. I would like to broaden my horizons though!
Sailing for me is about being close to nature and a constant learning experience. Surely, in some future I also dream of setting onto a long journey on a livable ocean-crossing boat, to see the world and sail the seven seas, yarrr :-)
In the meanwhile I'd much like to gain experience of different boats, different sailing environments and especially of longer voyage making. Hopefully also meet interesting, friendly people. I'm happy to participate in kinds of sailing related jobs on board, keeping watch, maintenance, cooking etc.
