Jack of all trades looking for a Mate/Engineer/Dive instructor or deck position!!!
Hello,
My name is Nahum Poli, but I usually go by just Poli. Here are a few words about myself -
• I have the following certifications: RYA Yachtmaster offshore, STCW, AEC1, AEC2, Efficient Deck Hand, PDSD.
• I am a very experienced dive instructor and a kiteboarding instructor.
• I am a hard worker, jack of all trades kind of guy with an amazing work ethic.
• I am currently finishing working as a Mate/Engineer onboard a 34m yacht.
• I have a lot of experience in day charters as captain and crew of a 44-50 ft sailing catamarans and a lot of experience driving various 24-42 ft power boats (inboards and outboards).
• I have considerable knowledge and experience in –
- Deck products and cleaning techniques, painting, varnishing and fiberglass repairs
- Engine and generator mechanics, HVAC systems, electrical systems (12v/24v and 220v/110v)
• I have broad life experience and knowledge which make me an amazing employee. I love solving problems and learning about things I do not know. I enjoy working as a part of a team and when needed, working alone. I do not need to be told what to do and am very good at knowing what needs to be done and doing it.
• I do not smoke nor do I drink alcohol and I like to keep a healthy lifestyle.
My goal is to find a great boat with a professional crew where we can all enjoy working together, learning from each other and providing the guests/owner with a top-level service.
