Hey. How you doin'? Jason here! I'm working hard to get to the water. Hope it comes sooner than later. Cheers
I have passed the ASA 101. I recently got some single handed sea time under my belt. I have my TWIC card and VPDSD. I'm scheduled to get my STCW basic training in August. I hope to have my MMC in 6 months. I'm a moderate drinker and drug free. When it comes to food, I eat almost anything. I am a veteran of 21 years as a union steamfitter. I have skills that are similar to that needed on a boat. I typically work long hours in very hot or cold temperatures. Often in tight places or at heights. Rigging and mechanical piping systems comprehension is a large part of my everyday activities. I have a basic understanding of carpentry, electrical systems, fiberglass repair, engine maintenance and repair. Also, my schedule can accommodate last minute request for help. I'm down to earth, look for the good things in life and can be a great listener. If I can help I will. If this is cool with you and it works for me, let's do this. If not, happy sails. It's all good. Everyone needs a chance.
