Looking for an Experience and Adventure!
Hi there,
My partner and I have formed a plan to at some stage buy a boat and live the cruiser life! Until that stage we are wanting to get as much experience blue water sailing on as many different boats as possible so that we can start forming an idea of what we're looking for.
We're have a little motor launch back home in NZ that we have spent quite a bit of time on across the Cook Straight and through the Marlborough Sounds. We've done quite a bit of maintenance work on it too, in the water and on the hard. We have managed to clock up some sailing time too.. we have done a 7 day passage up the east coast of NZ and we are currently in Australia having just completed a cruise up from Brisbane to Airlie Beach, living the good life and stopping at all the beautiful islands along the Coral Coast!
We're both pretty relaxed when it comes to changing plans - much preferring to go with the flow rather than forcing an outcome. Even more so with sailing opportunities - our ultimate goal is to circumnavigate but we're keen to experience as much as possible and so we're flexible with our timeline for when opportunities arise.
