Looking for open water sailing opportunities,big ocean crossings to enhance my knowledge and meet cool people
Hello,
I’m Thomas from Greece and for the past three years I’ve been actively sailing, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of life at sea. With an engineering background, I enjoy contributing to onboard maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing anything that can be fixed.
I’m a clean, tidy, and reliable crew member who can assist with a wide variety of tasks on board. This season,2026, I crossed the Atlantic from W-E and currently i am working as a deckhand in the Aegean
I love the outdoors and especially the water Some of my hobbies are camping ,hiking ,mountain biking, freediving, spearfishing.I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing difficult situations.I am also a certified scuba diver(OW).I learn quick especially if i am interested in the subject .
My sailing experience:
Over 7000nm in the past 3 years with a total of 6 months+ in the sea.
Longest continues passage was 2420nm
Most days spent at sea in a row 16
One Atlantic crossing , W-E ,Antigua -Azores-Spain
Have done plenty of solo night watches

Offshore Personal safety seminar recognized by World Sailing Org
Can provide detailed logbook and additional references
