Coastal Skipper looking for Mile Building opportunities
Attention all skippers looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and ambitious crew member. My name is Maikel Ruhl, and I would be honored to join your team.
With 4000 logged miles under my belt since 2017, i am eager to expand my skills and knowledge. I grew up sailing various dinghies and spending vacations on my parents' yacht, I have a deep love and respect for the ocean. Recently, I completed my RYA Coastalskipper in september 2023 and will complete my RYA yachtmaster offshore in september 2024.
As a person, I am well-prepared, easy-going, and enthusiastic. I am a partial owner of a real estate development company and hold a Master's degree in both real estate and management. I have a wife and two young children, so I understand the importance of teamwork and clear communication. I do not drink or smoke.
In addition to my sailing experience, I would also like to offer my help with the preparations for the crossing and the boat. I believe it's important to meet in advance and get to know each other and the boat, so we can all be well-prepared for the journey ahead.
