Im interested in finding a position as a Chef and need to officially log my sea time towards my certificates. I have extensive experience on charter boats up and down the West Australian coast as chef, dive master and deckhand. And while most of my time was on power boats. I am a very focused and fast learner and have studied sailing books and theory obsessively over the past year.
Willing to travel anywhere in the world and pay my way where necessary. I can make myself available for longer journeys of 5-6 months and the like. And would consider a permanent position working for a private family or charter boat as professional Chef culinary expert and all round boat guy.
I have experience in first aid provisions diesel engine and generator servicing pumps fresh and black water power tool handling heavy water preparation seasick cleanup emergency procedures rescue diver navigation crane operation emergency evacuation compressor operations crane operations. And I generally know how to live my life from a bunk with nothing but a back pack chef uniform and my tools.
Avid kitesurfer surfer scuba and freediver fisher spearo and as a professional chef I know my way around the galley. Large scale fine dine vegan canapes exotic seafoods and improvising with limited supply are some of my most valued skills. I have Police clearance and working with children checks worked as a au pair and private chef for family. Im great with children and love reading and language. Friendly extravagant and Good sense of humour and full of worldly stories. And very Ready to create more!
