Looking for a Novice Crew, Deckhand, Cook or Nanny position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew,Deckhand, Cook or Nanny.
I've been sailing for 3 months with a tall ship with square sails, I've done about 3000 miles , most with motor but we have used square sails, all in a traditional way.
I have learned the safety rules on board,and we also have had very busy crossings. I have cooked and planned meals for a crew of 15 people, in an open kitchen and not self-tilting.
I don’t get seasick (the only time was in the North Sea, and that was a wild ride!). On one hand, I’m keen to keep learning the ropes, level up my sailing skills, and dive deeper into the maritime world. On the other hand, I’m dreaming of sailing to the Caribbean during season to catch some work and some sunshine!
I am a dynamic, happy and enthusiastic woman.In my freetime on board I read, take sunbathes, swim if possible and the most, I enjoy the landscape and the sound of the sea. I consider myself an easy going adn happy person and I like simple life. I will be happy to have a video call before we meet, and I also understand that if something doesn't work between us, I will have to take another course. I don't like dramas, I am serious about work and I will take care of your boat as if it was my home, and the crew as if they were my family.
I've been working for 10 years as a team leader, with children of all ages. Last 5 years I was working with children with special needs, like autistic child. I have many resources to play and have fun with kids, and my pedagogy is based on respectful education.
And last but not least, I'm not looking for any romantic relationship :)
