Looking for a Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
I am a well mannered 19 year old from Cape Town, South Africa. I am highly enthusiastic about advancing my skills as a deckhand. I am a quick learner and I am very confident in my capabilties. I am a team player, but I am also capable to work alone. With good adaptibility, strong time management and a tireless work ethic, I am able to excel under pressure.
I am good with people and have a great amount of experience in the hospitality industry, so I am able to help serve and cater to geusts aswell as work behind the bar. I carry a positive attitude with me wherever I go aswell as a great eagerness to learn. I hope to join a crew that I can call family.
I spent a month onboard a 36m M/Y recreationally, but in this time decided to learn from the deckhand onboard and also served and catered to the other guests. I have good experience doing daywork so I am confident that I will be able to keep any yacht in pristine condition.
I have some experience driving small boats, but hope to get much better over time. I am very comfortable on a Jetski and could even help teach guests and tag along on trips. I love fishing, even though I dont know what most of the equipment involved is, I do have a lot of experience from fishing with friends and family.
