Looking for a Voluntary work or Mile building position
Hi I’m Hannah,
I'm a PhD researcher in breast cancer on the daily, but I love the water, it’s my source of sanity. I’ve grown up near the lough and being on it has been my consistent source of happiness.
I've completed RYA day skipper (sailing) practical qualification and power boat level 2. I’ve done mile building journeys in the past with familiar and novel crew ranging from 60 miles to 400 with no issues. I’m quick to learn and I take instruction very well with night watch alone or with others in busy shipping lanes. I appreciate anyone taking the time to share their experience and knowledge! I have grown up with Powerboating, in my day skipper I was comfortable completing at 42ft no bow thrusters coming into berths. Power boats I’m more familar with but happy to hand. Also been up the mast before, no issue with heights. Or small spaces (Laz etc)).
As a person I'm very easy going and respectful. I love to experience new cultures and places and enjoy cooking good food and reading a good book, and of course having good conversation!
