Looking for a Deckhand position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand. With eight years of hands-on experience in the marine industry. I bring a strong technical foundation, safety-first mindset, and a deep passion for life at sea.
I recently transitioned from a leadership role as a marine electrician, where I supervised installations and repairs on vessels like Balance Yachts. My practical knowledge of AC/DC systems, navigation electronics, bilge systems, and watermakers has equipped me with a unique skill set that supports both technical and deck operations. I’ve also completed all the key maritime certifications required for this position, including STCW-10 (with PDSD), Powerboat Level 2, PWC (Jet-ski), and VHF radio.
Beyond technical ability, I am a dependable team player with a calm demeanor and an eagerness to take initiative. Whether line handling, maintaining deck gear, or supporting tender operations, I take pride in my attention to detail and ability to adapt to fast-paced onboard environments.
