Looking for a Friendship position. I am living in Spain.
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Friendship. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I live in Spain, I would love to sail along on the Med. But I just became a pensioner and willing to travel for a nice sailing trip.
I am sailing since age of 12. Since about 20 years on sailing yachts upto 14 m. Since 15 years ago I rented a yacht some 7 times to sail with wife and son. We sailed on the Med and in Zeeland in Holland.
I have mainly sailed on the Northsea, but also a couple of times on the Ostsea, from Rostock. Furthermore: Cape Wrath, Solent, Landsend, West France, La Coruña. Two times from Athens. All the trips that I was not with my family I just joined an experienced skipper and further crewmembers. I have done night shifts 8 times.
I possess the Dutch "Vaarbewijs II" The International Certificate of Competence.
Basically I am ready to join sailing on a "shared costs basis".

Excellent sailor
Hub joined us for a cruise from Sicily to Menorca, and I am glad to have had him. He is patient and attentive, and followed instructions promptly. His experience and love for sailing shone through, and I would be happy to sail with him again.
