Crew available for Transatlantic crossing (Europe to Caribbean/South America)
Hiya, I'm interested in crewing across the Atlantic with my partner.
My qualifications include:
RYA Dinghy instructor and RYA keelboat endorsement
Outdoor first aid
Sea survival qual
Crewed for two multi day offshore races (Dubai to Muscat), crewing in winds gusting up to 40knots.
I’m calm and can keep level headed, happy to put in long shifts when needed. I'm friendly and up for a good natter, especially if you like history as I’m an archaeologist! Very happy to muck in, I’m fairly practical as I used to teach dinghy sailing and build roundhouses for a living.
