Ciao! I’m Riccardo, an Italian architect based in Amsterdam, taking a few months off to explore the world by sea!
I’m looking to join a sailing crew from late December 2025 onward.
Although I’m new to ocean sailing, I’m a fast learner, calm under pressure, and very hands-on (used to managing complex architectural projects and teamwork). I don't have any professional license but I went sailing several time with my friends, my family and also alone with a standard Efsix.
I’m an active, outdoors-loving traveler; I climb, hike, surf, and cook healthy meals. I love simplicity, sunlight, and meaningful connections. My travel style is respectful, curious, and low-impact. I’m happy to share cooking, cleaning, night watches, or whatever the crew needs.
People say I’m easy to live with, positive, and good-humored; I value teamwork and keeping a good atmosphere on board. I speak English, Italian, and some Spanish, and I enjoy learning from others’ stories and cultures.
I’d love to join a friendly boat where I can learn sailing through experience, help out wherever possible, and share the adventure on the sea :)
