My name is James , and I am a 59-year-old retired education administrator with a lifelong passion for hands-on learning, craftsmanship, and technology. I began my career as an old-school shop teacher, where I taught woodworking, welding, and a variety of problem-solving skills that helped students develop confidence and creativity in practical trades.
Over the years, my career evolved from the classroom to administration, ultimately serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Technology for a school district. In that role, I combined my technical background with leadership and strategic planning, ensuring students and staff had the tools and infrastructure needed to succeed in a modern learning environment.
Now retired, I’m looking forward to new adventures — including purchasing a yacht. My background in mechanical systems, construction, and technology has given me an appreciation for well-built craftsmanship, and I’m excited to apply those skills and interests to life on the water.

Experance:
I crewed on a Bali 4.2 being delivered from Baltimore MD to St Thomas USVI via Bermuda over 1900 miles in 13 days.
I crewed pn a Bali 4.8 being delivered from Virgin Gorda BVI to Fort Lauderdale FL over 1000 miles in 15 days.
