Experienced Sailing Yacht Crew | Deckhand / Mate | Available for the Right Opportunity
I am a French professional sailor and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, currently looking for my next position on a private, sailing or expedition-style yacht.
I am particularly interested in Deckhand / Mate positions, with the opportunity to develop further within a professional deck team and take on increasing responsibility.
My background combines professional sailing, skippering, sailing instruction and maritime experience. I have experience running sailing yachts up to around 55ft, as well as working in demanding onboard environments where reliability, maintenance, safety and good seamanship are essential.
I am looking for a position where I can be genuinely involved in the operation of the yacht — watchkeeping, navigation, sail handling, manoeuvring, maintenance, deck operations and general seamanship — rather than simply a guest-facing role.
I am especially interested in private sailing yachts, performance yachts and expedition-style programmes, ideally where there is a strong sailing and navigation component.
I am also open to delivery work and longer-term opportunities with the right owner or professional crew.
I am hard-working, practical, adaptable and comfortable working as part of a small team in demanding environments. My long-term goal is to build a career in the sailing superyacht industry and progress towards senior deck roles.
