Hi Captain,
I saw your upcoming route from the Mediterranean towards Asia/Indian Ocean and would love to join your crew. I am looking for a long-distance, one-way delivery or ocean passage on a "no contribution" basis (all onboard expenses covered).
Why I could be a highly valuable asset to your boat and safety mid-ocean:
1. Technical Expertise: My professional background is a Data Center Mission-Critical Engineer. I am an expert in complex AC/DC electrical grids, high-capacity battery banks, inverters, plumbing, and pumps. I also have good practical skills in marine diesel engine service and troubleshooting. In terms of engineering, a modern cruising yacht is very similar to my daily work. If any system fails at sea, I know how to diagnose and safely fix it.
2. Safety: I hold a valid First Aid & CPR certificate. I take medical safety very seriously and am fully prepared to manage medical emergencies or trauma stabilization at sea.
3. Qualifications: I hold IYT and GIMS (Russian state) marine licenses. I have solid experience in night watches, sail trimming, and helming. I am a non-smoker, physically fit, and highly disciplined regarding the captain's authority and boat rules.
Logistics & Visas:
I do not hold EU/US visas at the moment, which makes me a perfect fit for visa-free starting points like Turkey and destinations in Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Seychelles, Maldives).
I speak confident English with a solid technical vocabulary, so communication will not be an issue.
