Looking for a Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Mile building position
Hello! I’m looking to join a sailing crew for mile building, voluntary work, or a novice crew opportunity. I’m especially interested in learning from an experienced skipper and contributing wherever I can.
I have hands-on boating experience from earlier years, including serving as first mate aboard a 40-foot Morgan sailboat and working around fishing charter boats. I’ve helped with sail handling, steering, docking, anchoring, lines and fenders, guest assistance, cleaning, fueling, and basic boat maintenance. I’ve also owned small boats and have spent many years around the water.
I’m now building my sailing experience again and plan to take ASA 101 and STCW training. I’m a strong swimmer, an open-water scuba diver, and bring a practical, steady, guest-friendly approach from years in hospitality. I’m happy to help with routine boat work and learn the way you prefer things done.
I’m exploring opportunities for January–February 2027 and from August 2027 onward. I’d be glad to connect with skippers looking for a reliable extra set of hands for sailing, mile building, or charter support.
