Looking for a Deckhand or Delivery Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand or Delivery Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I am a Turkish economist and currently work as a Research Assistant at Mersin University, Türkiye. I am now developing my professional career towards the yachting and maritime sector, having completed my STCW safety training and 149 GT Yacht Captain training.
Originally from Fethiye, Muğla, I have had a strong connection with the sea from an early age. I have completed sailing training and gained practical onboard experience as crew, assisting the captain with sailing and general deck activities.
I am a practical, hands-on and hardworking person. During my high school years, I also gained experience working in a carpentry workshop, developing practical skills, familiarity with tools and a problem-solving approach.
Although I am at the beginning of my professional yachting career, I am highly motivated to learn, contribute to a professional crew and develop my skills within the deck department. I am comfortable with physical work, take responsibility seriously and enjoy working as part of a team.
