Med/Atl coast + transatlantic Sep-Dec 25
Hi, I’m Quentin, 34, French expat for 12+ years in 3 countries and looking for a boat to:
1) Gain experience in Mediterranean Sea/Atlantic coast line to reach the Canaries Island between September-October.
2) Cross the Atlantic to continue my cycling journey (bike will be shipped no worries, won’t take it on boat) from October onwards.
EXPERIENCE
Apart from sailing with small 10m catamarans for couple years during my youth/adolescence, I have never properly sailed but I’m highly motivated and eager to learn. I have passed my level 2 free-diving certificate in Dahab, Egypt in 2023.
LIVING
People say I am easy to live with, have an open-minded and peaceful mindset from years of solo/couple/family/friends travel from few days to 1-year around the world, and from volunteer opportunities in the field of education, social causes and farming.
OFFER
I am very hands-on, can cook, play guitar, speak English, French, German, forgot my Hungarian and Spanish in between, I can clean, take great photographs and take care of animals. Naturally, I would contribute to the common cost :-)
BESIDES THAT
I have been doing multi-days hiking and cycling in various continents and been working, primarly in Berlin, +9years with a NGO supporting startups in Africa, with a company in sustainable food business where I was also taking care of the rooftop garden for +3 years.
