competent crew availble in central america
About me:
Since 2017 I sailed mainly on civil rescue vessels in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, where we saved hundrets of peoples life at sea. So I´m used to sail under "difficult circumstances".
But I also enjoy the relaxed way of going with the wind, especially on longer legs, like ocean crossings.
I´m professional craftsman and sculptor (e.g. constructing, welding) and run a studio for complex engineered sculptures and designs (also for boats).
Once as traditional journeyman I found myself in different realities, studied Design and Art, lived and married once in Brazil...well, somehow colourful live :)...
I have navigation skills, can stand day and night watches alone, know how to handle lines and winches and can bring a lot of crafts skills and improvisations to the boat.
(fixing equipment and material under difficult circumstances is somehow my hobby :).
I'm trained to drive RHIBs and dinghys and last but not least I´m very trained in savety systems.
I´m a honest, communicative and open-minded and helpful person and care a lot about positive feelings in the crew, e.g. with cooking in the galley,
With my background as designer I am also used to make digital documentations by foto and filming.
Fair winds for humanity!

Fantastic sailor and friend
I had the honor of crossing the Atlantic Ocean with Hannes. He is a very experienced sailor, a creative person and a grate friend. We had a grate time together, he is always there to help and solve problems. I learned a lot from him and I recommend to everyone yo meet him! Hope we can sail again together.
