Looking for a 3rd Officer, 2nd Officer, 1st Officer or Deckhand position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay.
I'm interested in finding a position as a 3rd Officer, 2nd Officer, 1st Officer or Deckhand.
Last year I got my ICC and am now studying for the VHF certificates and part one of the sailing certificate day skipper scheduled in March.
Sadly I know too little about how this business but am very open to learn a lot. It doesn't really matter to me where I will work, close to home is certainly possible (Belgium, Netherlands, France or Germany) but would also be interested for longer periods abroad.
In school i used to study nautical navigation in for commercial shipping, so I do have a little experience at sea by doing various internships.
I also Used to be on the sailing scouts for 5 years and I have also been a sailing monitor at sports camp for kids.
In terms of working for i yacht charterer I have no experience yet, so logical to start as navigation help although my goal is to become a Captain.
This kind of work makes me very excited and it would be a dream to make this my profession.
