Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - €negotiable - Greece
Do you like to come sailing in the most beautiful sailing area in Greece. We are looking for a Dutch speaking, energetic skipper with good interpersonal skills and who has a passion for sailing and other watersports.
We do private charters with mostly family’s from the Netherlands. These customers book a charter especially with us because of the extra watersports we offer.
Requirements:
RYA Yacht Master or CWO IV
First Aid/First Responders certification
Experience with Greek mooring
RYA Powerboat level 2 or equivalent
Minimum 1 seasons charter/instruction experience
Fluent Dutch speaking is a must
Role & Responsibilities:
- Remaining calm and professional at all times
- Keep the log up to date
- Involve our guests daily in planning the trip. Use the pilot, map and route mapping tools
- Drive a rib with 20HP engine
- Teach sailing and other watersports like waterskiing, kneeboarding, subwing, funtube, SUP and waterscooter
- Make use of tools to share photo’s and video’s with our guests
- Keep safety of the yacht and guests in mind at all times
- Make sure our guests have the holiday of a lifetime and become returning customers
- Taking care of the yacht like it is your own
- Resolve complains
- Organize the provisioning of the yacht
- Providing suggestions to our guests for best restaurants, on shore activities - socialize with guests
- Assist guest in preparing meals on board, prepare food on the board BBQ.
- Keep the owners up to date and follow their instructions
- Yacht preparation on turnaround days to ensure the yacht is ready for the new guests
- Assist in cleaning of the yacht on turnaround days
- Good technical and problem solving skills
- Taking care of weekly expense report
