Deckhand - Permanent - Min exp 2 years - €1200 plus benefits - Malta
Looking for an enthusiastic person to work as deckhand/bar/maintenance assistant.
Work placement is on a daycharter catamaran. Own cabin with own shower/WC.
Main focus is preparing the boat prior charter, anchoring and berthing maneuvers, serving drinks at the bar.
Day charters in local waters of Malta.
What do you need to be able to do?
X Bowline ;) really
X Securing docklines on a cleat
X Drop and raise the anchor
X inside and outside cleaning
X serving drinks from a bar
X fluent English
X Good swimmer
X clean and hygienic
X friendly character
You need a deckhand licence which we will provide in Malta, but in order to for us to get you one you would need either experience on boats or something like a yachtmaster or other nautical licence in order to get you through the course in a fast pace.
Accomodation in own cabin with own shower and toilet.
Tips shared between the crew.
Full time or seasonal employment in Malta.
