Summer camp position USCG license 50 ton or greater with sail endorsement.

Looking for a great teacher and mentor to join our crew as mate for the summer season. Cruise the San Juan Islands orcas Island while teaching sailing and seamanship.

Primarily youth sale training voyages, 3 week program around the Salish Sea and shorter cruises around the San Juan Islands.

Facilitate trainees in safe participation in hands-on sailing activities. Help mentor two professional deckhands and assist The captain with all aspects of Shepherd operations.

Must enjoy living and working with ages 9 to 16.

Live a board position with salary meals at camp when not underway.
