New Zealand to Fiji
I'm now, April26, in Opua, New Zealand. I'll spend the rest of April preparing and waiting for a weather window for a smooth passage to Fiji, approx 1,000 miles. Open for someone to share the experience with me as sailing alone is not as much fun. Would be great to meet before the passage to check things out. Possibility of long term cruising up in the islands.
An excellent boat the Outbound 46 is regarded as one of the most capable cruisers out there. Well equiped with all the comfort and safety equipment needed to have fun and keep safe.
Very experienced captain with in excess of 160,000 miles at sea over many years living onboard and sailing around the world.
Crew/guest has own cabin, all boat running costs covered, share cost of provisions. No smoking of any substance, no drinking at sea. happy hour beers encouraged at anchor. I love to cook but also appreciate when others cook too.

Great sailing and hiking in New Zealand!
I sailed with Geoff for over a month around the North Island of New Zealand this Feb 2026. He is a very experienced captain on an extremely well maintained and safety oriented boat. We had a great time sailing and hiking the beautifull trails of New Zealand. Geoff is a very friendly person and is also a fantastic cook. I recommend sailing with Geoff anytime.
