Head Chef - Temporary / Seasonal - €2 500/ month - France
The job we have currently open on Curanta Cridhe contains the following tasks:
1- Chef: as the Chef, your mandate will be to provide high end meals to our charter guests, the owners, their family and guests. We take a maximum of 6 guests per charter. Same when the owners are on board, there is always a maximum of 6 guests plus two crews. So, you will have to prepare meals for 8 persons max. The crew eat the same menu as the guests. The owners and the guests love Mediterranean cuisine, but you may vary your menus with any type of gastronomy, including asian food. You will be the only cook in the galley, but I will help you in dressing the table, serving the food from the galley to the table, serving the wine and cooking the fish and meat on the BBQ.
2- Hostess / Stewardess: Your tasks in this area will consist in being in charge of the boat's interior. Please, understand that Curanta Cridhe is a small sailing vessel: 16 meters long, so there is only 4 cabins in the boat. Your duty is to clean the boat's interior and make sure the 3 charter cabins are made every day when on charter. You will have your own cabin when not in charter. However, we'll share the same cabin when we need to give the 3 cabins to our guests during charter operation.
3- Crew: You will have to help the Captain in some maneuvers such as docking the boat in a marina or anchoring. Most of the time, the Captain will be able to maneuver the boat alone, but he may need your help in some occasions.
