Boat description1977 30' Albin Ballad 'Sedna'
I just hauled the boat on 7/19 and stripped the bottom, what fun! I applied two coats of Interlux 2000E then two coats of antifouling.
The boat's in good shape. Aboard there's a TV/DVD, nine foot inflatable, five HP Nissan outboard, Advanced Elements Kayak, emergency life raft, two hand held VHF's and one built in, a Standard Horizon CP300 chartplotter, a JRC Radar, a well maintained Yanmar 2GM diesel inboard, a Westinghouse IGen 1200 quiet generator that runs the Frigidaire AC, a two burner alcohol stove, a built in Ice box and two more coolers, salt and fresh water foot pumps to the galley sink, a head and holding tank, four anchors (Bruce, Manson Supreme, Fortress, and a large and heavy Danforth), newer main, three furling jibs in good shape (one's HD), a whisker pole and a chute, a swim ladder on the transom, a dodger, a bimini, a tiller pilot, A bullet wifi extender, Plenty of tools, a hookah dive system, a Parrot Bebop 2 Extended drone, and more! Depth sounder.
I redid the boat's interior and installed a Yanmar 2GM diesel inboard, and I Barrier Coated the bilge with West System Epoxy (white pigment added).
I could probably fit two more people aboard for the trip through Florida. The boat is also my home.
It's cozy, seaworthy, sails well, and has 5'10" headroom, and allows for privacy when needed.
