Ahoy captains!
?♀️ Who are we?
Alix (??) and Ophélie (??), two 24-year-old crew members who met aboard a three-masted schooner: the Kraken.
We are a reliable and close-knit duo, both eager to fully commit to a real sailing adventure and life as part of a crew (night watches, manoeuvres, cooking, cleaning, daily tasks, etc.).
Our shared passions: sailing, low-carbon/slow travel, outdoor sports, photography, music (guitar, piano, singing)…
⇒ with one goal in mind: getting involved with environmental and nature conservation associations in Central and South America.

? Available from mid-September, with great flexibility regarding embarkation and arrival locations. Open to a full Atlantic crossing (Caribbean/Brazil/Central America) or a partial crossing to Cape Verde/Canary Islands.
⚓ Our sailing experience
→ 1 month volunteering aboard the non-profit 3-masted schooner “Le Kraken” (sailing, day/night watch management, participation in collective life and daily tasks, safety training, harness work in the masts at 30m height)
→ Several sailing trips on a 9m sailboat in La Rochelle
→ One-week liveaboard sailing course – Level 1 (Ophélie)
→ Theoretical training (Les Glénans sailing manual)
? What can we bring onboard?
• Good vibes, positive energy, and respect for everyone’s pace and needs
• Strong involvement in all onboard tasks (we both enjoy DIY and fixing things)
• Alix is trained as a videographer and could help you keep amazing memories of your crossing ?️
• We are both great cooks ??
