Looking for a Voluntary work, Friendship, Housekeeping/Stew or Mile building position
Hello everyone,
A young, hardworking, and determined person currently in Kenya, looking for an opportunity to join a crew, learn the life of sailing, and contribute wherever needed. The journey so far has not been easy, but it has built resilience, independence, patience, courage, and a strong willingness to start from the bottom and earn every opportunity through honest work.
Interested in volunteering, friendship, housekeeping/stewarding, general crew assistance, and mile building. Comfortable with practical work such as cleaning, cooking, organizing, carrying supplies, basic maintenance, learning new tasks quickly, helping around the accommodation, and supporting a crew with whatever needs to be done.
With a strong curiosity about engineering, innovation, and how things work. Adaptable, respectful, willing to take instructions, and happy to learn from experienced sailors rather than pretending to know what has not yet been learned.
The purpose is much bigger than simply reaching another country. It is about finding a genuine opportunity to become useful, experience different cultures, learn from people who live differently, develop practical skills, and build a better future through discipline, hard work, and real-world experience.
Currently in Kenya and open to opportunities across the world. Long passages, challenging conditions, unfamiliar places, and starting with basic responsibilities are all welcome. Ready to begin wherever an honest opportunity exists, learn the rules of the vessel, respect the captain and crew, and give full commitment to the journey.
