1st Engineer - Permanent - General (Europe)
Currently we are looking for a Technical Procurement Coordinator (for all 3 vessels) to complement our operations.
Your tasks:
Procurement of spare parts for the Sailing-Classics fleet (all 3 vessels), including spare parts for engine room, sailing equipment, nautical items, medicine and LSA.
Obtaining quotations and maintaining relationships with worldwide suppliers.
Operational processing and monitoring of orders, deliveries and transfer to vessels.
Independent negotiation of offers and conditions on the international procurement market.
Optimization and maintenance of internal ordering process.
Spare parts cataloguing and maintenance of the fleet inventory management software MARAD by Marasoft.
Organization of the maintenance periods (shipyard) twice a year.
Arranging annual stakeholder surveys (Flag, Class, LSA etc).
Archive management and follow-up of the certificates from Flag, Class and Insurance companies.
Regular communication with engineers and deck crew to follow-up on their daily tasks.
Coordination and cooperation with all departments, especially with Accounting.
Assisting the Operations team in various administrative matters.
Your profile:
Technical or commercial apprenticeship.
Professional experience in purchasing and international logistics or similar.
Negotiating skills and good analytical abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with good self-management and time management.
Ability to work in an international team, flexibility and resilience.
Good understanding of English language, spoken and in writing.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
You are open to 30% traveling.
Preferably, you are a sailor yourself or have a strong affinity for sailing and yachts.
