Curacao and Bonaire
I'm currently on the island of Curacao living aboard and maintaining a 41' ketch and will remain in these waters until Novenber.
The islands of Curacao and neighbouring Bonaire have wonderful visibility and steep dropoffs which are ideal for freediving, a sport which I'm enthusiastic about, and I'm hoping to attract some charter guests, especially those involved with this sport. There is an international freediving competition happening here soon and there will be many visitors arrivimg.
If you are interested in freediving, or have been deep snorkeling and would like to increase your underwater ability, and you like the idea of island hopping in this region and feel you could be of use helping to run some quite casual charters then let me know.
I would expect crew to share basic living aboard expenses such as food and fuel, and of course if we have paying guests as well then our expenses will be covered and you can make some income.
Prior sailing experience isn't a must, although a certain level of fitness and dexterity are, as are enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Ability to prepare a half decent meal is a plus.
Ideally you should be a strong swimmer and have confidence with, and derive great joy from swimming underwater.
