2020 SOUTH PACIFIC SAILING - DIVING - FISHING
Well, looks like 2020 sailing is not going to happen.
At the moment I'm at anchor on a reef with a sand cay of Cairns, only person out here. Keep in touch will update if anything change
Looking forward to sail/dive north and south from Cairns.
This summer have been great sailing weather, light winds , sun and only little rain on the water in North Queensland. Water is 29c but will rise to 30 over summer.
Easy sailing, clean water, just need to catch some fish
This is not a tourist sailing trip. I live onboard year round. Might even do some maintenance, while on anchor. Would like to find a sailing partner, with a little saltwater in her blood haha. This is my permanent home.
Costs is just share food and fuel. No marinas .
The project is just a small part of my sailing. Fishing and diving is what I really like to spend my time doing.
WITH THE VIRUS KEEPING OS IN AUSTRALIA IT WILL BE INTERESTINGLY TO SEE WHEN WE CAN DEPARTURE AGAIN
Another year, 2019, of helping small islands in South Pacific.
Yacht Seagoon, Roberts 38 Offshore. Been sailing SP since 1993, 7 years ago I started this little project.
Have a great sponsor, he loves my project and special the way all his sponsorship go straight to the people, no expenses , no air fares, no admin fees.
Departure first week in May, or when the weather is right, no need to go out there and get hammered.
This is a long time cruising add, wont be back till October sometime. I more less sail all year round. So fra this summer around Cairns 1000 km.
