Unprofessional and Abusive Conduct by Charter Operator**

1

RED FLAG FOR ALL SKIPPERS I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred during my recent professional engagement as a skipper in Malta in this company. I was contracted informally through WhatsApp by an individual representing a charter operation at Kalkara Marina named Sailing Charters Malta. I completed three successful charter trips, each carried out safely and professionally, without any client complaints or issues. However, on the evening following the third trip, after I had returned to my own vessel, the individual approached me aggressively. What began as unsolicited criticism over minor operational details quickly escalated into verbal abuse. The man began shouting, physically pushed me, and attempted to punch me — which I managed to avoid. This behavior was both unprovoked and threatening. This individual appears to run his operation without proper structure or regulation. There was no formal contract, no issued receipts, and all payments were made in cash on a daily basis. I am concerned that some of the skippers engaged by him may not even have legal working status in Malta or appropriate qualifications. This situation been happening to other Skippers along the years just this year im the fourth skipper All the boat's sails have no conditions to be used. Avoid at any cost
