SAILING THE WEST COAST OF ITALY DOWN TO SICILY
This offer is for all levels of sailing but the option doesn’t exist on Crewbay.
The boat, an Oceanis 523 is going to spend the winter in Sardaigna. In April we will go back up Corsica Bastia and cross over to the Italian coast via the island of Elba. Then down south toward Sicily. We will take our time, visiting the inland sites when interesting. For this we will rent cars, take buses’ trains or taxis. So many things to see down this coast!!
I am an easy going guy but life on a boat requires respect and a certain amount of discipline. That’s what I expect from my crew with lots of smiles and anthousiam of course!
The cost is 30€ per day for the aft cabin (1 or 2 people ) and 50€ per day for the front cabin (1 or 2 people) plus shared expenses for food, fuel and marinas . ( you’ll be two in the cabin if you bring someone along. Otherwise you’ll be alone, no sharing with other people)
Hope to see you soon ! Don’t hesitate to ask any question you might have!
A general overview of the trip:
Don’t forget t that things in sailing may change rapidly so I am not indicating precise date schedule.
The trip is going to last 6 months, so as a first approach we should be in Corsica in April, maybe reach the island of Elba. In May we’ll start to go down south in Toscana to arrive, in June, in the region of Roma. In July we’ll continue our trip toward Naples going on,in August, toward the Aeolian islands which would give us a whole month to circumnavigate Sicily. You can always contact me a little time in advance to know our whereabouts!!
