Cherbourg to Marseille cruise

I first put an advert last spring for a cruise up to Chile; due to delays at shipyard level this is now postponed for one (2020).
Hence I decided to go for a Nordic cruise that will end in Cherbourg in the last days of September 2019 ( Ireland, Shetlands, Norway, Denmark). We are already in the Netherlands.
As from beginning of October I will cruise south in order to take the boat to Marseilles.
For the Cherbourg -Lisbon part of that cruise I have an available bunk for one competent crew (or a couple) able to help for all activities on board and skilled enough for actively participating to the night shifts. Duration should be 30/40 days including several calls in Britany and Spain.
The operating costs of the boat ( mainly food/drinks on board, fuel and marina charges) are shared; that should amount circa 20€/day/person.
Balthazar is an over equipped 5 years old Exploration 45 from the Garcia shipyard ; it went through a deep refit this late winter (at Garcia) in order to be ready for a world tour cruise starting from Marseilles next April.
Looking for a non smoking person and non alcohol dependant ; need to speak a bit of English; French appreciated.

  • Boat descriptionThe vessel is an Exploration 45 built in 2014 at Garcia shipyard. She was built for Jimmy Cornell; she already went through the North-West passage and went also from Svalbard to the limit of the Arctic ice pack up to 80° North. She is very comfortable, highly equipped in terms of security and communication. I took the boat back to Garcia for a deep refit. She is now fully ready for new adventures. We expect to sail to Ushuaia (December 2019), cross for several weeks in Antarctica and then sail through the Patagonia canals to Puerto Montt.
